The Houston Figure Skating Club is the oldest figure skating club in Houston and a member of USFSA. We are organized for the purpose of encouraging advancement of our members in amateur figure skating.

Holiday Spirit Kicked Off by HFSC Skaters
Houston Figure Skating Club skaters performed in two major city events this past weekend. Congratulations to the following skaters who performed in the Ice Spectacular and Treelighting Show at the Galleria on Saturday Nov. 10 and skated during the half-time show at the Houston Aeros hockey game on Sunday Nov. 11:

Regionals Party Sunday October 7!!
Regionals is just around the corner and we will be having our Regionals Send Off Party and Exhibition on Sunday, October 7, 2012 during Club Ice at 11:00 am. We'll have refreshments and fun! Invite a friend to come and share in the refreshments and see the skating.
Come out and support our skaters who will be competing in this year's Regionals competition. See their beautiful Programs and wish them good luck!

HFSC Strides with Pride in Turkey Trot

Our next test session will be on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Sharpstown Ice Center. Please postmark test applications by May 25, 2013. See TESTING page for test application.
Volunteer Opportunity Available at June 8 Test Session
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help out at our test session on June 8, 2013! Positions are available to be in charge in hospitality duties, runners, and accounting. Interested club members should e-mail Sam Gotsdiner at sgotsdiner@comcast.net and can build volunteer credits for membership discounts.
Club Ice Temporarily Suspended
The Ice at the Galleria has informed us that, effetive immediately, Sunday morning skating school classes will begin at 11 a.m. instead of noon, thus displacing our club ice time that our club has held for many years. Houston FSC is working with Ice at the Galleria towards a solution, and will inform members as soon as we reach an outcome. In the mean time we sincerely apologize to all of our members for this very sudden inconvenience.
